2024 Primary Candidate Filing

Candidate filing for the 2024 Primary Election will begin on November 6th at noon and end on November 14th at noon.

You may pick up a candidate filing packet at the Boone County Election Center.

Offices that are included in the primary election are all 10 Boone County Justice of the Peace positions, 3 Boone County Constable positions and All 6 of the Boone County School Boards will have 1 position.

School Districts up in 2024:

Alpena: Zone 1 currently held by Robb Husley, 5 year term

Bergman: Position 2 currently held by Danny (DJ) Collins, 5 year term 

Harrison: Previously Zone 4 currently held by Nate Wilson, 5 year term

Lead Hill: Zone 4 currently held by appointed Danny James Baker, 5 year term

               Zone 3 held by appointed Cale Thompson, 3 year term

               Zone 2 held by appointed Andrea Smith, 4 year term

Omaha: Position 2 currently held by Joel Wolf, 5 year term

Valley: No Position number assigned held by Randy Richardson, 5 year term
